Offline-first guidance for safe gear lists.
All Projects (Dashboard)
The project list — Sidebar → All Projects
Sidebar → All Projects (/projects) lists every project in the workspace. The app itself opens on Home, the overview of every feature. Each row is a project card. From here: open a project, create a new one, accept collaboration invites, sort and filter the list.
What's on This Page
A list of all projects in this workspace with light controls on top.
- Project cards showing name, client, date range, and item count.
- View Templates, View Archived and View Trash links — archived and deleted projects each have their own page.
- Sort: Name, Last edited, or Custom Order.
- A search box that matches the project name or client.
- 'New' and 'Import project' buttons at the top.
- Pending collaboration invites appear in a Pending Invites section when there are any.
Tips
- Archived projects are not on this page — open them with 'View Archived'.
- The sort order is remembered on this device; the search box starts empty on every visit.
- Sorted by 'Last edited', the most recently changed projects come first.
Project Cards
Each project card surfaces enough info to pick from a list.
- Project name and client.
- Shoot date range (when one is set).
- Item count for the gear list.
- Completion progress bar — tracks shoot dates set, provider assignment, rates, and checklist completion (not budget).
- Collaboration status — shared, pending invites.
- Sync indicator — orange when local changes haven't been uploaded yet.
Tips
- Click a card to open the project.
- The card's '…' menu (swipe on touch) opens the per-project quick-action menu — duplicate, archive, delete.
- An orange sync indicator means 'still uploading' — not 'failed'. Wait or check the sync status.
Tiles or list
The Tiles | List switch next to the sort menu changes how the dashboard, Archived and Trash draw your projects. Tiles is the default card layout; List shows one compact row per project.
- List rows show name and client, shoot dates, status (phase, shoot countdown, complete, pending approvals), progress, last edited and the team. Narrower screens and folders show fewer columns.
- Click anywhere on a tile or a row to open the project, not only its name or the Open Project button. The controls on it keep their own job: the ⋯ menu, the version, Add team members and Add shoot dates. The ⋯ menu is the same menu in both layouts.
- Folders, drag to reorder, drag into a folder and swipe to archive work in both layouts.
- The choice is remembered on this device only.
Creating & Importing Projects
Most days start here.
- 'New' at the top of this page creates a fresh project (you can pick a template to pre-populate the gear list).
- 'Import project' at the top of this page restores a project from a backup file, such as the one 'Export project' in a card's ⋯ menu makes.
- Accept or decline collaboration invites in the Pending Invites section.
- Recently edited projects come first when 'Last edited' is the sort order.
- Click 'New' at the top of the page.
- Enter name, client, and optional shoot dates.
- Optionally pick a template to pre-fill the gear list.
- Click 'Create' — you land directly in the new project.
- Back on the dashboard, click any card to resume.
Tips
- If a similar project exists, check Templates before creating a new one from scratch.
- Invites also appear in the Notification Center bell.
Collaboration Invites
Incoming project shares show up in a Pending Invites section on this page.
- Each invite shows the project name and the role you are invited with (Editor or Viewer).
- Accept adds the project to your workspace with sync enabled.
- Decline removes the invite from your side. The owner is not notified.
- Invites also appear in the Notification Center (bell).
- Find the invite under Pending Invites.
- Check the project name and your role.
- Click 'Accept' — the project appears in your list immediately.
- Or 'Decline' to dismiss.
Tips
- The Notification Center (bell) lists the same invites.
- Accepting a project enables cloud sync for it; you keep access even if you go offline afterwards.
Common Pitfalls
- Accepting on the wrong account if multiple logins are in play.
- Declining by mistake — the owner has to invite you again.
Sorting & Filtering
Keep the list useful when projects accumulate.
- Sort: Name (A–Z), Last edited, or Custom Order.
- Archived and deleted projects: 'View Archived' and 'View Trash' open their own pages, with the same search and sort.
- Search by name or client.
- The sort order is remembered on this device; the search is not.
Tips
- 'Last edited' during active prep keeps current projects on top.
- Archive completed projects rather than deleting — archive is recoverable.
- Search matches any part of the name or client, so two or three letters are often enough.
All Projects is the front door. For per-project editing see 'Projects'; for starting points see 'Templates'.
