Only these shortcuts are wired globally. Both Cmd and Ctrl work as the modifier.

— Open the Keyboard Shortcuts help page (/help/shortcuts). Ignored when focus is in a text input.

Cmd/Ctrl + S

— Force-save to IndexedDB and OPFS. Auto-save is always on; this is the manual flush.

Cmd/Ctrl + K

— Open Quick Switcher (unified search for projects, devices, contacts, pages).

Cmd/Ctrl + P

— Open Quick Switcher (same surface as Cmd/Ctrl + K — the legacy projects palette has been folded in).

Cmd/Ctrl + Alt + N

— Start a new project. Opens All Projects with the new-project dialog. It also works while the cursor is in a text field.

Cmd/Ctrl + F

— Inside a project workspace, focuses the category search box; anywhere else, opens the global Search page (/search). The app overrides the browser's native find-in-page on these surfaces.

Cmd/Ctrl + /

— Open the Help home page (/help).

Esc

— Close the topmost modal or overlay.

What to check first for common problems.

• App won't load offline → visit it once while online so the service worker caches. See 'Offline Workflow'.
• Sync conflict modal won't go away → see 'Conflict Resolution'; never skip a real choice.
• Data missing after a restart → were you in a private/incognito window? Browser-specific storage rules wipe IndexedDB on close.
• PDF export looks wrong → see 'PDF Tools' for utilities and 'Tips & Tricks' for export tips.
