About Add Blank Page

Inserts blank pages at any position, matching the size and orientation of the surrounding pages by default, or at a standard size you pick. Insert one, or several at once.

Page insertion is a structural edit performed locally. Existing page content is copied through byte-for-byte.

How to use Add Blank Page

  1. Load the document.
  2. Choose the position — before or after a given page, or at the end.
  3. Pick how many blanks to insert and whether to match the neighbouring page size.
  4. Insert and download.

On a production

Duplex printing wants an even page count per section, or the verso lands on the wrong sheet. A blank page before an appendix gives the section a clean start. It is bindery housekeeping, and it has to happen before the file reaches the printer.

Frequently asked questions

What size will the blank page be?
By default it matches the page it is inserted next to, which is what you want in a mixed-size document. You can override this with an explicit standard size if the blank needs to match the rest of a print run instead.
Can I add several blanks in different places at once?
One position per pass. Run the tool again for each insertion point — each pass is quick and the intermediate file stays in the browser.
Will the blank page print?
Yes, it is a real page and will consume a sheet. That is usually the intention; if you only want the page count to change without printing paper, adjust the printer's duplex settings instead.
