About Organize PDF

Rearranges pages into any order you specify. Drag thumbnails into position, or type an explicit sequence such as 5,1-4,7 to express a rearrangement precisely. Pages omitted from the sequence are dropped.

Reordering rewrites the page tree locally; page content streams are copied unchanged and nothing is uploaded.

How to use Organize PDF

  1. Load the PDF and view the thumbnail grid.
  2. Drag pages into the order you want, or switch to sequence entry and type it out.
  3. Check the resulting page count — omitting a page from an explicit sequence removes it.
  4. Apply and download the reordered document.

On a production

Documents assembled from several sources arrive in the order they were scanned, not the order they should be read. Putting the summary first and the appendices last is the difference between a document people read and one they file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I duplicate a page by listing it twice?
Yes. An explicit sequence like 1,2,2,3 produces a document with page two appearing twice, which is occasionally what a print imposition needs.
What happens to pages I leave out of the sequence?
They are dropped from the output. That makes the sequence field a combined reorder-and-filter, so double-check the page count before exporting if you meant to keep everything.
Do bookmarks follow the pages?
Bookmarks are remapped to their pages' new positions. Bookmarks whose target page was dropped are removed.
