About PDF Multi Tool
Multi-Tool chains several operations into a single pass over one document. Rotate, delete, reorder and extract are staged as a list of pending edits, applied together when you commit, so the file is written once rather than re-encoded after every individual change.
The document stays in browser memory for the whole session. Staged edits are held as plain objects and never serialised to a server.
How to use PDF Multi Tool
- Open a PDF. Up to ten documents can be held in the workspace at once and switched between.
- Build the edit list — each rotate, delete, move or extract is added as a pending step rather than applied immediately.
- Reorder or remove steps in the list if you change your mind. Nothing is written to the document until you commit.
- Apply the whole list and download. The output is encoded a single time, from the original page objects.
On a production
Paperwork that comes back from a scanner is rarely wrong in only one way. A twelve-page delivery note arrives upside down, with a blank separator sheet in the middle and the signature page at the end instead of the front. Fixing that as three separate downloads means three round trips; staging it as one edit list means one.
Frequently asked questions
- Why stage edits instead of applying each one?
- Every save re-encodes the document, and repeated re-encoding of the same page objects is where quality and file size quietly degrade. Collecting the operations and writing once keeps the output a single generation away from the original.
- Can I undo a step after adding it?
- Yes. The pending list is fully editable until you commit — remove a step, change its position, or clear the list entirely. The source document is untouched the whole time.
- Does the page order in the list matter?
- It does for operations that move pages. A delete followed by a reorder acts on different page indices than the same two steps reversed, so the list is applied strictly top to bottom, exactly as shown.
