About PDF To PPTX

PDF to PowerPoint builds an editable .pptx in which each PDF page becomes a slide. Page content is placed at high quality so the deck matches the source visually, giving you a file that can be extended rather than only viewed.

Slides are assembled from the document in browser memory. Nothing about the deck's contents is sent off the machine.

How to use PDF To PPTX

  1. Open the PDF.
  2. Convert — each page is mapped to one slide at the source page's proportions.
  3. Open the deck in PowerPoint or Keynote and confirm the slide size is what you expect.
  4. Add or replace slides as needed.

On a production

A treatment arrives as a flat PDF and half of it needs to be reused, with three new slides added before it goes back out. Rebuilding those pages by hand wastes an afternoon; converting them into slides means only the new material has to be made.

Frequently asked questions

Is the text on each slide editable?
Text is recovered where the PDF contains real type, but a page that is heavily designed may place content as images. Expect a mix, and check any slide you intend to rewrite.
What slide size do I get?
The slide dimensions follow the PDF's page proportions, so a landscape document produces landscape slides. Changing the size afterwards in PowerPoint will reflow the placed content.
Can I convert only part of a document?
Extract the pages you want into a separate PDF first, then convert that. It avoids producing a hundred-slide deck when only six pages are actually needed.
