Frequently asked questions
- Are hidden layers included?
- No. The composite reflects the layer visibility saved in the file, so anything switched off in Photoshop when the document was last saved stays off in the PDF.
- Can I get one PDF page per layer?
- Not from this tool — it produces the flattened composite. Exporting layers as separate images from Photoshop first, then converting those, is the route to a page-per-layer document.
- Why is my PSB taking so long?
- PSB exists for documents beyond the two-gigabyte PSD ceiling, and that data has to be decoded in memory. Very large canvases are slow for the same reason they are slow to open in Photoshop.
