About Reverse Pages
Flips the page order so the last page becomes the first. It is a single-click operation with no options, because there is only one way to reverse a sequence.
Reversal reorders references to existing page objects locally; no page content is re-encoded and nothing is uploaded.
How to use Reverse Pages
- Load the reversed PDF.
- Check the thumbnail strip to confirm the order really is inverted rather than shuffled.
- Reverse.
- Download the corrected document.
On a production
Document feeders on older copiers stack output face-up, which produces a back-to-front PDF. So does scanning a stapled document from the back. Reversing is the two-second fix that avoids rescanning forty pages.
Frequently asked questions
- My scan alternates correct and reversed pages — will this fix it?
- No, that is a duplex scanning artefact where the versos came in backwards. Alternate Merge is the tool for interleaving two stacks correctly.
- Does reversing affect page rotation?
- No. Each page keeps its own rotation value; only their sequence changes. A sideways page will still be sideways, just in a different position.
- Can I reverse only part of a document?
- Not directly. Extract the section, reverse it, then merge it back — or use Organize PDF, which accepts an explicit page order and can express any rearrangement.
